We are an armed forces youth organisation that support young people aged from 12 to 18 years old to train in both military skills and other civilian qualifications through our progressive training syllabus. We enable the young person to learn and grow in many skills to help them better their work related skills for the future. We teach them military skills from living in the field, cooking for themselves to weapons training in a controlled and supportive environment to help them get the most enjoyment out of all that they are doing with us while achieving civilian recognised qualifications such as first aid, Duke of Edinburgh Award and CVQO's which go with their GCSE's. We also offer many Adventurous Training opportunities from single activities like paddle sports and mountain biking to extreme activities like parachuting and scuba diving, we will also offer the chance to receive qualifications in the activity itself or to become an instructor in the relevant activity. We are not a recruiter for the Army but we will support any young person that shows interest in joining the armed forces or in any job role they wish to do after leaving the Army Cadets.
