Planning Applications are discussed by the Planning Committee which meets once a month. The Agenda for the forthcoming meeting is published at least 3 days prior to the meeting. Members of the public are welcome to attend. A public participation session is held at the beginning of the meeting.

Whilst the Town Council considers and comments on all applications affecting the town, the controlling authority is North Herts District Council who make the decisions on the applications. A list of planning applications can be viewed on the North Herts District Council website.
