Finance Assistant

Permanent, part time, 24 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 9am to 4pm with a 1 hour lunch break

Salary - SCP 8: £13,293 per annum pro rata (£20,494 per annum FTE)

Enrolment into the Local Government Pension Scheme

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to undertake day to day management of the council’s finances.

The applicant will need to demonstrate a good knowledge of bookkeeping and ideally have experience of Sage Accounts and Payroll.

Tasks include invoicing, sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, monthly payroll and VAT returns.

Excellent communication skills and customer service experience are also required.
